Job Description: Campus Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Success Coach Position Budget Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Success Coach Position Unit: Grant funded, Human Services, reporting to Morrisville CampusProfessional Rank and Salary Range: Staff Assistant, SL2, $30 an hour Duration: Spring SemesterBrief Description of Duties: The Success Coach will work closely with SUNY Morrisville faculty and agency partners to provide social/academic wrap-around services over the duration of the grant to students enrolled in the DSP Micro-credential. SUNY Morrisville is seeking a SUNY Morrisville Direct Support Professional (DSP) Success Coach Position Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating academic and social supports for all SUNY MORRISVILLE students enrolled in the training supported by this grant. Case-managing student needs as needed Communicating regularly to student cohort on next steps in programming or services Conducting individual student meetings on a regular basis for advisement on training progression Assist students with applying for micro-credential badges on a timely basis Meet with grant planning team for this project and provide weekly updates Meet individually with DSP Coordinator and DSP Success Coach Work with the Norwich Campus staff on classroom or technology support for students Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Applicants for this position must have an earned associate degree. Preference given to applicants with some customer service experience, experience in the Human Service Profession or experience with or as a Direct Support Professional.
