JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking to hire an experienced Spanish Instructor/Tutor (All Levels) to provide instruction for our non-Spanish speaking students from Beginner Spanish to AP Level Spanish. In our small classroom or one-on-one environment, this tutor will be dedicated to the student, thanks to the personalized learning environment. Our goal is to foster an environment where our students can demonstrate what they learn during their tutoring sessions. This position is part-time and will require you to come in-person in our campus.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field from an accredited college or university (required)Master's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)2 years experience as a Spanish instructor or tutor (required)MUST be able to teach ALL levels of Spanish (from beginner to AP level)Successful track record of helping students in learning SpanishProfessional communication skills (both spoken and written)Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Able to work independently and collaborate with a teamEnthusiastic about working with students and parentsAble to maintain strict confidentialityHighly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)Ability to meet schedules and deadlinesGood judgment and decision-making abilitiesGood problem-solving skillsGood planning skillsHighly responsiveHighly proactiveHighly reliableIntegrityJOB DUTIES:Prepare students for AP Spanish examinationsTeach material on all levels of SpanishMotivate and encourage studentsDevelop and deliver comprehensive Spanish contentAdaptable to one-to-one or small group classesAssess students' needs and provide extra support in any lacking areasProvide homework help as neededAble to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with studentsGood classroom management skills
