Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring that the UF Health Leesburg Hospital Foundation & UF Health The Villages Hospital Auxiliary Foundation meets goals and objectives related to special events fundraising projects and other event-related activities. Manage media relations and marketing communications activities, and serves as a spokesperson for the Foundation when appropriate. Qualifications Education: - Associates Degree req (related field preferred) - Bachelors (pref) Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - Minimum 2 years experience in Event Planning (nonprofit setting preferred) - Long range planning and follow through skills - Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills - Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point - Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines - Working knowledge of graphic design elements and software programs - Ability to work evenings and weekends when job requires it - Ability to work both collaboratively and independently - Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to maintain "big picture" while coordinating small details - Ability to travel in order to perform position responsibilities - Excellent leadership qualities
