Want to start making a difference in someone else's life? Become a Clinic Waiting Room Greeter with Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation! The Clinic Waiting Room Greeters play a crucial role in welcoming and assisting patients and visitors, helping to create a warm and friendly atmosphere from the moment they come through the clinic doors. Duties and Responsibilities: Greet patients and guests with a smile and friendly voice. Offer water and coffee while patients and guests are waiting. Keep the waiting room neat and tidy. Engage patients and guests in light, easy conversation. Get a wheelchair as needed. Shifts are typically Monday - Friday, between 9am - 3pm, and is based on need, so could vary. We ask for a minimum time commitment of 3 hours per week, for at least 6 months. Volunteer Requirements: Submit a volunteer application. Complete a phone interview. Complete a criminal history check and drug/nicotine screening.Please note that FCS is a nicotine- and medical marijuana-free workplace.Complete a health screening: Tuberculosis (TB) testing, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity proof are required. An influenza vaccine is required annually (August 1 through March 31).
