Hospital maintenance employees are responsible for maintaining the extensive heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems in hospitals. Some other duties could include minor welding, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and minor carpentry repairs to walls, roofs, windows, or ceilings.
