A public K-12 school in Puyallup, WA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized support for one student. This contract position covers the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a student's educational experience through focused, individualized therapy. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to one student once a week, supporting their educational needs and developmental goals. Provide compensatory education services twice a week, approximately one hour per session, for the remainder of the school year. Collaborate with educational staff and families to ensure therapy goals align with the student's academic program. Document progress and communicate effectively with the students support team. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience providing OT services within a school setting is highly preferred. Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet educational objectives. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators. Location: Puyallup, Washington Duration: Current school year (contract position) This role offers a manageable schedule with approximately 1-2 hours of service weekly, allowing for a balanced workload while delivering critical support to one student in a school environment.
