We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager who will oversee and enhance manufacturing operations to deliver high-quality products efficiently. This strategic role involves process improvement, team leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at achieving excellence in operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust experience in manufacturing operations, Lean methodologies, and effective leadership. Key Responsibilities Define and manage production processes, including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and ensure successful implementation on the shop floor. Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production timelines, maintain quality standards, and meet cost objectives. Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Apply Lean principles, such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri, to enhance processes and eliminate waste. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team. Recruit, train, and mentor manufacturing professionals, providing guidance and performance assessments. Champion a safe and inclusive work environment, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing processes with overarching business goals. Develop strategies to optimize capacity, efficiency, and resource utilization effectively. Analyze operational challenges, implementing robust solutions that enhance productivity and minimize downtime. Utilize data-driven decision-making practices to resolve issues and drive performance improvements. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory mandates, and internal policies. Partner with Quality teams to uphold high product quality standards and swiftly address quality issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years in Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Aerospace manufacturing or other regulated industries. Strong leadership experience with technical teams. Track record of achieving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). Proficiency in structured problem-solving techniques such as the 4-step Problem Solving Framework and APPS. Experience managing complex projects with effective adaptability to changing priorities. Commitment to fostering continuous improvement and adapting team operations for optimal outcomes. Aptitude for educating and sharing expertise through training and coaching sessions. Ability to lead with integrity, respect, and transparency, promoting a collaborative team atmosphere. Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and align team efforts with organizational objectives. Adaptability in dynamic environments with diverse responsibilities and team interactions. Capability to stay engaged with projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure success and sustainable outcomes. The salary range for this position is $111,700 - $165,000, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skills. This role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on your base salary.
