My client, a well-established transportation company is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to support income tax compliance, reporting, and audits across domestic and international operations. This role partners closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings. Responsibilities Oversee federal, state, franchise, and foreign income tax compliance with external providers Manage estimated tax payments, extensions, and tax calendars Assist with quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions and disclosures Lead responses to tax audits, notices, and inquiries Support sales & use tax, VAT, property tax, and other indirect tax filings Maintain tax depreciation records and perform technical tax research Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) 2-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools Collaborative, detailoriented, and adaptable Benefits 4 weeks of time off (PTO/sick/personal) + 9 paid holidays 4.5% 401k match LTIP (after 1 year) The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
