You will support month-end close activities, nurture strong vendor relationships, and facilitate a dependable procure-to-pay process while actively contributing to ongoing improvements within the finance team. Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payments accurately and on time. Ensure the integrity of financial reports through reconciliations, accruals, and resolving discrepancies. Enhance workflows and internal controls in accounts payable operations. Deliver exceptional support to internal stakeholders and external vendors. Your key responsibilities will include: Entering supplier invoices and payment requests, resolving discrepancies as needed. Reviewing employee expense reports for proper coding and adherence to company policy. Supporting corporate cardholders by responding to inquiries and monitoring timely expense submissions. Preparing monthly accrual journal entries and assisting with month-end close tasks. Conducting bank reconciliations to verify accurate transaction recording. Maintaining vendor documentation and processing any updates or changes. Assisting with weekly payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and checks. Monitoring workflows in Workday for timely payment processing and approvals. Investigating and resolving discrepancies in vendor statements and payment inquiries. Supporting the annual 1099 review and timely IRS filing. Participating in special projects and process improvements as assigned. What you bring to the team: 2-6 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, basic math, and deductive reasoning. Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Workday ERP is a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A meticulous approach with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. The estimated hourly pay for this role falls between $28.37 and $36.00. Participation in an annual bonus plan is anticipated.
