Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a critical role in assessing, developing, and implementing tailored treatment plans for residents, helping them regain functional independence and improve daily living skills. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate residents and create individualized treatment plans based on medical diagnoses Implement therapeutic activities and track progress toward functional goals Document daily notes, progress reports, and re-certifications accurately Maintain confidentiality and protect resident information Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary communication Assist the Rehab Director with departmental reporting and special projects Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current New York State OT License Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings is a plus, but not required Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills What They Offer: Competitive weekly pay.
