AEG Core Values: Excellence & Teamwork Entrepreneurship & Innovation Respect & Trust Always Do What's Right Position Overview: The Data Control Specialist is responsible for tracking, reconciling, and managing fuel tickets and supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing. This role plays a critical part in revenue capture, vendor reconciliation, and operational accuracy by proactively chasing outstanding fuel tickets and maintaining detailed tracking logs in Excel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, persistent, detail oriented, and comfortable working with high volumes of transactional data. Key Responsibilities: Track and manage incoming fuel tickets from suppliers, FBOs, and internal stakeholders Proactively chase outstanding or missing fuel tickets to ensure timely receipt Maintain accurate Excel logs to monitor ticket status, discrepancies, and aging Reconcile fuel tickets against internal systems, contracts, and supplier records Identify and resolve discrepancies related to volumes, pricing, tail numbers, or locations Communicate regularly with vendors and internal teams to resolve documentation gaps Support month end close by ensuring all required tickets are received and accounted for Maintain organized digital records of fuel tickets and supporting documentation Generate tracking and aging reports for leadership as needed Assist with audit requests and compliance documentation Required Qualifications and Experience: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience 1 to 3 years of experience in data entry, billing support, operations, accounting support, or similar function Strong Excel skills including filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP Experience handling high volume transactional data Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow up consistently and professionally with vendors Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aviation, fuel operations, or energy industry Exposure to invoicing, reconciliation, or revenue operations Experience working with ERP systems
