Mechanical Engineer Reports to: Production Engineering Supervisor Status: Full Time Working Hours: 8am - 5pm Location: Rockmart, Ga, US Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually Job Summary: We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Rockmart, GA. In this role you will support our boiler production operations by overseeing shop testing, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring our processes are safe, efficient, and high quality. You'll work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional partners and have the opportunity to shape the future of our products and processes. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and perform shop testing of boilers, making sure all units meet performance, safety and quality standards before shipment. • Support daily production activities and provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel. • Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions for product issues or test failures. • Collaborate with Quality, Design Management, Product Development and other teams to solve production challenges. • Track and report key production metrics, offering data-driven recommendations. • Support new product introductions and modifications by validating test protocols and manufacturing readiness. • Promote safety compliance and a continuous improvement mindset on the shop floor. Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required. • Hands-on experience in boiler manufacturing or a related production environment (preferred). • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with 3D CAD and ERP systems (preferred).
