Join our team as a Foreman for Energized Electrical Projects! This position is based in the Winchester, VA area. Department: Line Operations Reports To: Supervisor or General Foreman Manages: Line Personnel Interacts With: Line personnel Administrative personnel Subcontractors Suppliers Position Objective: Lead and work closely with Line Crews to ensure construction projects meet the company and customer objectives of safety, schedule, performance, cost, and quality. Your leadership will ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment. Essential Functions: Effectively manage projects and personnel, prioritizing safety. Communicate with line personnel to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues. Provide guidance and support to line employees to safely accomplish their duties. Actively engage in new project transitions. Contribute to the development of project schedules and subcontractor/vendor scopes of work. Review purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure project alignment and control costs. Collaborate with line employees to achieve efficient project completions. Analyze job cost reports with Supervisor or General Foreman to ensure accurate project budgeting. Skills and Knowledge: Minimum 5 years of energized electrical line and substation construction experience. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent analytical abilities. Intermediate computer skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Please note, the Working Foreman position requires near and far visual acuity. A valid driver's class D minimum license is required; Class A CDL is preferred but not mandatory. This role also demands navigating various environmental conditions and terrains regularly.
