Job Function: Work with management to ensure the purchase and delivery of materials, and minor maintenance work. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance and organization of supply warehouse as well as copy room storage area. Develop an organized filing system to track materials, deliveries, and vendor procurement contracts. Work with management staff to purchase consumable supplies for health, nutrition, education, and sanitation. To purchase supplies, furnishings, and equipment as identified by management. Complete purchase order requisitions as needed, track orders, and submit quarterly expense reports. Establishes, with approval from finance department, and maintains purchasing practices and procedures to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with vendors. Responsible for exploring alternate opportunities for alternate suppliers and materials with the goal of achieving the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity and delivery. Ensures that purchasing and billing procedures are followed. Provide supervision to utility workers including, but not limited to, annual training, defensive driving training, evaluations, work assignments. Work with management staff to ensure that Work Requisitions are submitted (help desk), assigned, completed, and logged. Work with other administrative staff to complete special projects as needed. Other duties deemed by management staff. Requirements High school Diploma with two (2) years prior experience working in an office setting. Knowledge of office equipment and machines, including computers. Ability to type reports and documents as necessary. Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times. Ability to maintain clerical records and prepare reports from varied statistical information. Knowledge of Business English, Spelling, and typing procedures
