Position Summary The Floor Maintenance Associate is essential for providing and upholding a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces and restrooms are well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and organization of sales areas, restrooms, offices, breakrooms, and training rooms, ensuring safety by reporting any hazards or faulty equipment to management. (50%) Provide exceptional attention to customer needs; greet, assist, and thank customers promptly and courteously. (10%) Utilize floor care equipment and chemicals safely and effectively. (10%) Sweep/vacuum mats and rugs, ensuring they are returned to their original location; remove stains from carpets. (10%) Dispose of trash and conduct deep cleaning of restrooms. (10%) Report any theft, unauthorized markdowns, property damage, or other illegal activities in accordance with company policies. (10%) Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education No specific course of study required. Experience A minimum of 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred; no supervisory experience necessary. Language Requirements English proficiency required. Skills & Abilities Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently. Capability to understand and follow instructions in English. Authorization to work in the United States or able to obtain it. Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check is mandatory. High standard of integrity and reliability. Basic computer skills needed for online training participation. Physical and Working Conditions Candidates should be prepared for environments that may include indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to cold, heat, humidity, and varying workplace conditions. Physical Demands Responsibilities require regular standing or walking on different surfaces, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs, along with occasional lifting of up to 250 lbs. Working Schedules Flexibility is needed to accommodate varied schedules, including possible overnight shifts. Tools & Equipment Used Use of cleaning equipment, scanners, scales, and other necessary tools is required. Travel Requirement No travel is necessary for this position.
