Join Step Up Tutoring as a dedicated volunteer and make a real difference in the lives of elementary students from underserved communities! We are seeking passionate individuals to provide engaging virtual 1-on-1 tutoring for students in 3rd-6th grade, focusing on enhancing their essential math skills while offering support and encouragement. All tutoring takes place online, requiring only a computer and internet access. No prior tutoring experience is necessary! Tutoring sessions are held twice a week for 45 minutes, primarily on weekdays between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate enjoyable and interactive virtual sessions with a 3rd-6th grade student, twice weekly for 45 minutes each. Utilize a research-based online program designed to build students' fundamental math skills. Mentor and inspire your student in a positive and fun environment! Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old. Applicants need to be U.S. residents. Complete a mandatory background check successfully. Available to commit to at least 90 minutes of tutoring each week at consistent times for a minimum of 3 months.
