All types of volunteer positions are in needed. Here are a few ways you can help. Administrative - Filing, answering phones in our office, copying, writing letters to patients, sending cards to patients. Some activites can be completed in your own home. Direct Patient Care - Phone call support, sitting with patient, pray and/or bible study, reading to patient, music therapy, watching movies, listening, recording "life" stories, running errands, walking or playing with pets, care giver relief, light house keeping, light yard work. MUSIC THEREAPY and PET THERAPY DEFINATELY NEEDED! Veteran to Veteran - Veterans to visit other Veterans on Hospice. Enhabit is a member of the We Honor Vets Program. Bereavement Support - Phone calls and writing letters to grieving families. Do you sew? If you would like to make a pillow out of a patient's shirt, please contact us! Some forms of volunteer work can be accomplished right from your home! The Columbia Branch Office serves much of the surrounding area.
