Our Phone Skills Trainer will design and deliver programs that help Lead Generation, Sellers and Sales Engineers master tone, pacing, objection handling, and conversational flow - all while reflecting NEOGOV's voice and values & turning every call into an opportunity for impact. This posting is for an existing vacancy. What You Will doDevelop and deliver interactive phone communication and discovery call training programs. Use call recordings and data to identify coaching opportunities and trends. Run hands-on roleplays, live coaching sessions, and certification programs. Collaborate with leadership to reinforce best practices across the sales org. Maintain and update call playbooks, voicemail frameworks, and objection-handling guides. Measure program success through call metrics, conversion rates, and rep feedback. Travel to Draper, UT office 4x per year for meetings (if you're not within commutable distance to Draper.) Who You Are3+ years in sales training, enablement, or sales leadership Expertise in consultative or value-based selling frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC or similar). Deep understanding of modern sales communication and qualification techniques A knack for creating engaging, high-energy learning experiences Strong presence on the phone - you can model what great sounds like Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver ongoing phone communication training for sales teams. Analyze call recordings and data trends to identify coaching opportunities. Create interactive call workshops, roleplays, and certification programs. Partner with managers to reinforce techniques in daily workflows. Maintain call playbooks, voicemail frameworks, and objection handling guides. Track improvements using call metrics, conversion rates, and qualitative feedback.
