About this role Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Registered Nurses (RN) for Correctional facilities in the state of Michigan. The Registered Nurse will provide general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation for inmates. New Grads Accepted! Pay Rate: $64.00/hr working 40 hours a week Locations: Kincheloe, MI Shift: 1830-0700/2230-0630 or 1000-2230/1430-2300 Job Duties: Provide general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Assess healthcare needs of patients through a variety of routine underdisciplined assessments, and develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing and health care plans accordingly Perform health screenings of patients or clients Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients Collect and records data specific to health status of patients or clients Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners Instructs patients in treatment methods prescribed by medical practitioners/interdisciplinary treatment teams Provide health care instruction and education to individuals and others relating to the promotion of health and prevention or management of illness, disease, injury or disabilities Responsibilities will vary depending on department of assignment (e.g. Emergency Room/Clinic, advisory to non-medical administrator, infection control, nurse/health education development, quality assurance, nurse anesthetist, etc.) Minimum Qualifications: BLS Active Registered Nurse License 2-3 Professional References Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid) Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid) Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid) Company 401(k) plans with eligibility from the 1 st day of the month following hire.
