Internship Dates: May 2026 - September 2026 Reports To: Director, Events and Experiences Position Summary The Events & Experiences Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site activations, special events, and fan engagement programs. This is an exciting, hands-on role for a creative and energetic individual who wants to gain experience in sports event management, experiential marketing, and guest experience operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with the planning and execution of daily and weekly Cooperstown All Star Village events, including: Opening Ceremonies, Mom's Home Run Derby, Cornhole Classic, Championship games, and many other family fun activities Assist in management of Home Run Dugout, a batting cage simulator experience Assist in live TV production of first annual Ripken National Championships Help manage event set-up, signage, registration, and participant flow. Assist with guest experience enhancements, including interactive games, contests, and themed entertainment. Provide on-site operational support, including logistics, equipment, and vendor coordination. Collect feedback from guests and participants to help improve future experiences. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Event Planning, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Creative problem solver with attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Passion for baseball, youth sports, and live events a big plus! Availability to work evenings and weekends during tournament season.
