Description YAPP USA specializes in producing fuel tanks, fuel transfer systems, and fuel filler pipes for vehicles. They use injection molding, co extrusion, and multi layer blow molding technologies to create durable, lightweight fuel system components. This Production Operator will be working in a fast paced manufacturing Environment making Fuel Tanks. There are 2 different stations an operator can work at - Blow Molding and Assembly. In the Assembly role - Operators will be attaching different parts on a fuel tank. They will have a screen above them that tells them where each part needs to be placed on the fuel tank. They will be on their feet the entire time In the Blow Mold role - Operators will be working hands on with fuel tanks and moving them from station to station. A new tank will be made about every minute, Operators will have about 40 seconds to get the tank of the line and moved forward to the assembly line. 2nd Shift = Monday - Friday (2x Openings) 2pm-1030m Will Work Occasional Saturdays 2nd Shift Pay = $16.90 Candidates will Train on 2nd shift 1x 15 minute break 1x 30 minute break Job Duties -Following the job instruction provided by the Group Leader. -Meeting daily job assignment standards. Ability to rotate within the assigned workstation in a line or within other lines. -Immediately inform the Group Leader/Team Leader of any visual and/or physical defects in production pieces that appear at your workstation. Reference operation instructions. -Trim pieces without creating any defects. Perform additional trimming of flash to enable a part to meet customer standards and requirements. -Ensuring that no defective pieces are packed. -Record any non-conforming parts on the productive reports. -Ensuring all conforming parts are correctly packed according to packaging standards. -Ensure that all aspects of his or her area of responsibility is always in full compliance with the quality system in place at the operation. -Ensure there are no quality or production interruptions due to lack of giving or seeking information by fully informing the Production Manager of all events affecting production and the shift.
