Job Description

The Gibson Garage Events Coordinator supports the Gibson Garage Events Manager in planning, executing, and evaluating all public facing in-store and corporate events & programming for the Gibson Garage. This role helps ensure that events-including product launches, artist signings, workshops, performances, and community partnerships-are executed smoothly, reflect the Gibson brand, and create memorable experiences for guests and musicians. Essential Functions Assist in the planning and coordination of all store events. Support communication between teams, artists, vendors, and internal departments. Coordinate event setup and breakdown including staging, signage, and equipment. Track event inventory and manage guest registration needs. Support vendor sourcing and on-site requirements. Document event performance with photos, attendance, and reports. Maintain calendars, timelines, shared folders, and communication channels. Support marketing teams with content and briefs. Monitor budgets and assist with expense tracking. Ensure all events meet brand standards and safety protocols. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Bilingual: English/Spanish (preferred but not required) Practical work with event logistics and vendor coordination. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize. Comfortable working with musicians and public audiences. Ability to troubleshoot issues rapidly. Competency with Microsoft Office and event tools. Required Education and Experience B.S in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Music Business, or equivalent degree - or related work experience. 1-3 years of experience with event coordination or related roles. Essential Knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work in a loud environment for 8+ hours. Standing and walking required 90% of the time. Lifting required 20% of the time with a max weight of 50lbs.
