Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) Olympia, WA A Radiation Oncology Clinic is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. Overview of Responsibilities: Manage high-volume patient flow for an outpatient oncology clinic, seeing up to 30 patients per shift. Work in a 1:1 partnership with a provider to room patients, take vital signs, and prep examination rooms before and after appointments. Conduct comprehensive medication assessments, communicating any anomalies to the provider. Administer injections and process injection orders as directed by the provider. Handle chart prepping and ensure all clinical documentation is accurate. Coordinate directly with the infusion side of the clinic to assist in patient transitions. Schedule and confirm patient follow-up appointments. Maintain a clean and stocked clinical environment. Schedule/Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 an hour (Dependant on experience) Requirements: Active LPN Certification through the Washington State DOH. Proven tenure in previous clinical roles. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment. Experience or comfort with multitasking and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Additional Skills: Previous experience in Oncology is highly preferred. Proficiency with Epic. Contract Length: 700 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
