The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy within the Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Division of the City's Department of Human Resources. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to (1) year. Under general supervision, performs analytical and technical human resources work in various areas of the Human Resources Department; and performs related duties as assigned. The Human Resources Analyst I role in the Recruitment and Talent Acquisition division is responsible for developing and administering all phases of the recruitment and selection processes, including developing innovative recruitment strategies and collaborating with department hiring managers and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate for this position will possess: Attention to detail, initiative, sound judgement, adaptability, and good time management skills High level communication and relationship building skills Experience planning, developing, and facilitating full-cycle recruitments Experience working for a public-sector agency Position Information: The standard schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm (4 day work week) This position may be eligible for remote work up to two days per week upon completion of initial probationary period; at least 50% of work time must be spent in-person onsite. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Business or Public Administration, or a closely related field Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience working in talent acquisition/recruitment or employee and labor relations in a human resources department Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver' license, as defined by NRS 483 Must pass a nationwide fingerprint-based records check, and a wants/warrants check Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification within six months of hire/transfer and be recertified every two years.
