Kitter - Cabinet Maker Job Location: Benicia, California Job Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: $21-$22/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm Description of Position: Do you have experience as a Kitter in cabinet making? Our client is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Kitter to support the production of high end wood fixtures in Benicia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with carpentry, mechanical, or product assembly experience who is looking to grow into a long term career within a company. This position may become permanent based on workload and performance. Job Responsibilities: Assist Quality Control in receiving, sorting, and listing new materials Organize materials into kits for the production team Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 for marking and organizing steel (non-negotiable skill) Read and interpret basic blueprints Assist in finish prep, edgebanding, and doweling processes Work within computer software to print labels and support shipping logistics Move, lift, and organize steel, tools, and scrap materials Assist with loading and unloading materials Operate power tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Follow all shop safety standards and company guidelines Description of Company: You will be joining an esteemed millwork shop in Benicia, California, where our client prioritize quality and safety in everything they do.
