Description - What You'll Contribute Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory examinations-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols. Evaluate results for integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed. Keep meticulous records of all procedures performed, mentor newcomers or interns, and contribute to the preservation of laboratory quality standards. Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment. Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teamwork with fellow healthcare providers. Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
