Position Summary: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets by minimizing financial losses due to theft and fraud. This position not only focuses on loss prevention strategies but also supports safety and environmental compliance across assigned stores. Key responsibilities include: Utilizing various tools to identify and address theft and fraud incidents. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports to monitor store security. Conducting audits on Electronic Article Surveillance systems. Promoting a culture of shrink elimination throughout the store. Preparing clear and thorough case reports for incidents involving apprehensions and recoveries. Interacting with law enforcement and, when necessary, providing testimony in criminal and civil court cases. Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. Carrying out all duties in a manner that ensures safety for associates, vendors, customers, and company assets.
