We are currently seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams and projects that significantly impact our clients. Key Responsibilities: Define project parameters, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives. Manage project expectations continuously with team members and stakeholders. Utilize project management tools to plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor project timelines and milestones. Implement best practices and tools to enhance project execution and management. Develop budget proposals and suggest adjustments as needed. Create and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively address project changes and identify potential risks while developing contingency plans. Coordinate with other teams for effective cross-team collaboration. Work closely with business stakeholders to prioritize project demands. Guide team members to ensure the right tasks are prioritized and executed correctly. Prepare upstream and downstream teams for code promotion activities. Essential Qualifications: Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing priorities. Demonstrated outcome and solution orientation with urgency in delivering results. Responsive to project changes and able to manage adjustments efficiently. Effective communication skills for diverse team members and stakeholders. Ability to engage a wide range of participants, from management to clients and other departments. Proficient in conducting research into project-related topics and technologies. Adept at learning and applying new technologies. Strong prioritization and execution skills, especially in high-pressure environments. Effective participation in training sessions, meetings, and presentations. Additional Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 6-8 years of technical project management experience with a solid understanding of Agile Development Processes. Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, CAPM) strongly preferred. Compensation: Compensation at Public Consulting Group is competitive and based on various factors, including role, skill set, and experience. The salary range for this position is $148,000 - $160,000. We also offer comprehensive benefits such as medical and dental care, 401k plans, paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
