Immediate Opening for Welding Fabrication Technicians in Pompano Beach! $32-$34/hr + Generous Bonuses + Paid time off! Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pmThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating and welding equipment and machinery components using MIG and TIG processes, while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship that meets safety and production standards.Benefits: Medical Insurance Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance is covered at 100% Generous paid time off (PTO) Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program 401k Retirement Plan/ Employer Matching up to 4% of Salary Birthday Recognition Monthly Company Lunches Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components and structures for equipment and machinery Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals as required Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, and grinders Inspect welded joints and fabricated parts for accuracy, strength, and quality Perform minor repairs and modifications to machinery and equipment Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing guidelines Interpret and apply welding codes and specifications accurately Take responsibility for workmanship and ensure compliance with company and industry standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience required 5 to 7 years of experience as a fabricator/welder within a manufacturing or industrial environment MIG and TIG welding certification required or to be obtained upon hire Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints Knowledge of welding symbols, measurements, and tolerances Ability to work independently; Ability to work with other employees as a Team Player Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions, including drawings and OEM repair manuals and on-line resources and basic computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, be detailed oriented, and focused Problem solver Skills: must be analytically minded, challenges existing processes, and a critical thinker Exotech is a metals processing company in Pompano Beach, Florida, and has been a family-owned and operated business for over 35 years.
