Universal Intermodal services all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps and offers domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities. We provide Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves. Pay: Up to $350.00 per day $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! Terminal Location: 2950 International St. Columbus, OH 43228 What we Offer: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Rail Work Dayshift: Starting 6AM-8AM Monday - Friday Consistent, year-round work HOME DAILY Light Touch Freight High Earning Potential: Gross earnings up to up to $350 per day (Paid per move/step). Guaranteed Pay: Minimum guaranteed pay of $225 per day for the first 4 weeks! BENEFITS (Effective after 90 days): Blue Cross Blue Shield - Medical, Dental & Vision Paid Holidays, Vacation & Personal Time 401K RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate commercial trucks safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securing of loads. Transport goods to assigned destinations within scheduled timeframes. Maintain electronic or paper logs of working hours, driving hours, and rest periods (DOT compliance). Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, incidents, or route changes. Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation (bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.). Follow planned routes while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions. Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites. Keep equipment clean and report any necessary repairs. REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 years of age Prior rail experience preferred but not required Class A CDL 6 months of verifiable experience in the last year Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
