Key Responsibilities Verify patient insurance information for accuracy and eligibility, including direct contact with patients and physician offices Obtain and enter authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring all required details are included in the patient accounting system Calculate and communicate estimated co-pays and co-insurance amounts to patients, adhering to financial policies Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Strong customer service experience required A/R, billing, or insurance verification experience is required Previous experience with calculating out-of-pocket expenses for patients Healthcare experience is a must
