Billing Specialist Fairfax, VA Salary range: $85-90K / year Addison Group's client is searching for a Billing Specialist (focused in Government Contracting) based in Fairfax, VA. This role is hybrid with a conversion salary in the 85-90K range. Responsibilities Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with government contract terms (Cost-Plus, Fixed-Price, T&M). Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) guidelines, and other government regulations. Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice issues. Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Maintain detailed records for audits and financial reporting. Work with project managers, finance teams, and government agencies to ensure billing accuracy. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of billing experience in the government contracting industry. Knowledge of FAR, DCAA compliance, and government invoicing portals (WAWF, IPP, etc.). Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or other government accounting software.
