College of Staten Island (CSI)Part of The City University of New York (CUNY) system.Location: Staten Island, New YorkThe position supports the College Counseling Center, providing psychiatric services to college students.PositionPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Contract / Temporary staffing engagement.Job Description (Scope of Work)The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide mental health services to students through the college counseling center.Key responsibilities include: Medication evaluationsMedication management Psychiatric consultationSupporting counseling center clinicians regarding treatment plans Providing services primarily through telehealth Services are delivered to students receiving mental health care through the Counseling Center.College of Staten Island - Psyc Schedule / Work StructurePart-time engagementEstimated 2 3 days per monthHours typically between Monday Friday, 9 AM 5 PM Mostly remote (telehealth)Occasional on-campus visits may be required There may also be occasional off-hours consultations via telehealth depending on student needs.College of Staten Island - Psyc Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)Candidates must have:LicensureActive New York State RN license Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license Certification Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health DEA License DEA registration required ExperienceMinimum 3 years experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Experience in a psychiatric clinical setting Additional scoring preference: 10+ years experience preferredExperience working with students in higher education settings Education preference:• Master s Degree in Nursing or related field Pay rate between $105-$110
