The Recruitment Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and supporting admissions and outreach activities designed to attract and enroll a diverse student body to Grays Harbor College. This role focuses on facilitating outreach and engagement initiatives to recruit prospective students to Grays Harbor College and other institutions. The facilitator will support the admissions process to ensure a seamless and student-centered experience, and contributing to strategic enrollment efforts aligned with institutional goals. Key responsibilities include organizing campus and program tours for prospective students, guiding individuals through the application and admissions process, and collaborating with college departments to support the implementation of the college's strategic enrollment plan. The Recruitment Facilitator will also play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with local high schools, tribal communities, community organizations, and other external partners to promote student referrals and enhance community engagement. This position works closely with the Director of Enrollment Services/Registrar and other campus stakeholders to execute comprehensive recruitment and outreach strategies. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudent Engagement First point of contact to follow up with prospective students Schedule and lead campus tours and information sessions to help prospective students and families learn about programs, services, and campus life. Guide students through the admissions process, helping them understand what is required and making sure they stay on track. Admissions Coordination Keep all student application documents organized and up to date, including transcripts and references. Work closely with departments like Financial Aid and Workforce Funding & Support Programs to connect students with the resources they need. Send out official admissions letters and keep students informed about their status. Maintain tracking systems and provide weekly updates on enrollment progress to ensure goals are being met. Recruitment & Outreach Plan and help run events such as Career Fairs, Open Houses, and Admissions Days to attract new students to GHC. Partner with local high schools, community organizations, tribal communities, and employers to build strong recruitment pipelines for youth and adults. Represent the college at community and school events, including fairs, workshops, and conferences. Help coordinate student orientation and welcome activities to build a strong start for new students. Data Management & Reporting Track student engagement and admissions progress using tools like EAB Navigate and ctcLink. Collect and report data on how many students were contacted, how many have applied, and how many enrolled. Analyze what's working in recruitment and suggest improvements to meet goals. Professional Development Attend trainings and workshops to stay current with best practices in admissions, outreach, and student support.
