We are seeking a motivated Product Sourcing Specialist to join our Lake Forest, IL branch. This position will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers and products that align with our company's strategic sourcing objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of woodworking, cabinetry supplies, and cabinetry hardware, along with strong analytical and vendor negotiation skills. Experience working with SAP is required. Schedule: 40 hours per week Compensation: Starting Salary: $85,000 annually (non-negotiable) Description of Duties: Identify, source, and negotiate with suppliers for new and existing product lines within woodworking, cabinetry supplies, and hardware categories. Identify, source, and negotiate with new suppliers for product lines outside of the scope of our existing product base but complimentary to our industry. Evaluate supplier performance and pricing to ensure alignment with company objectives and profitability targets. Manage the product lifecycle from sourcing through digital onboarding, ensuring all content, descriptions, and pricing are accurate and optimized for our e-commerce platform. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to ensure smooth product launches and updates. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for cost savings and assortment expansion. Support the development of pricing strategies, rebate structures, and promotional initiatives. Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure reliable supply and responsiveness. Leverage SAP to manage product data, supplier records, and pricing structures efficiently. Education or Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience and/or Qualifications Required: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial distribution, woodworking, or cabinetry hardware sourcing. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficiency with SAP required; experience with other ERP and e-commerce systems is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of product content optimization for digital marketplaces preferred.
