Position Information: This position performs a variety of basic grounds maintenance work, to include lawn and athletic field care; construction and repair of grounds and grounds facilities; planting, transplanting, pruning, fertilizing, and spraying pesticides to control weeds, insects, and other pests; concrete mixing and installation; asphalt repair and installation; drainage system maintenance and installation; playground repair and construction; and other grounds-related work. This position operates a wide variety of equipment and vehicles as necessary to perform job duties. Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
