Forklift/Material Handler/Tugger Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Forklift/Material Handler/Tugger for a union facility located in Warren, MI. Responsibilities of the Material Handler include providing essential shop floor support for receiving material handling, staging, inventory control, and shipment activities. This role ensures accurate, timely, and safe movement of materials in a fast-paced, Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment. Automotive experience required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials. Record all material movements in the ERP system. Deliver materials to production lines and maintain proper stock levels. Perform cycle counts and support FIFO inventory rotation. Complete forklift and dock inspections at start of shift. Maintain clean, organized storage and work areas (5S). Operate forklifts safely; maintain certification (training provided). Report discrepancies, damaged material, or equipment issues immediately. Assist with shipping paperwork and update receiving logs. Perform other material handling duties as needed. Experience & Skills Forklift certified or able to become certified within 8 weeks. 2+ years of material handling or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills; MS Office helpful. Ability to stand/walk 68 hours and lift to 35 lbs. Available Shifts 1st shift 2nd shift C Shift: Monday-Tuesday 4:30pm-3:00am, Friday-Saturday 5:00am-3:30pm $16.51 per hour.
