As a Food Service Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supervising daily operations to uphold food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards. Your expertise will help create work schedules and lead a team while ensuring the restaurant maintains safety and security protocols. Key Responsibilities: Perform all tasks outlined in the shift manager job description. Lead and manage a staff of approximately 4 to 12 team members. Assign, oversee, and evaluate team performance. Recommend promotions, transfers, or terminations based on performance evaluations. Ensure high cleanliness standards as per the Operations Manual. Supervise food preparation as necessary to maintain safety and operational standards. Complete necessary paperwork duties efficiently. Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions. Pre-requisites: Education: High school graduate. Experience: Background in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations preferred, especially with supervisory duties; excellent communication skills required for effective interaction with all levels of staff; computer knowledge is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in any area of the restaurant as needed and operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
