This contract position based in New Haven, CT, offers an opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to apply specialized skills in a school environment. The role involves assessing and addressing student behavior needs through comprehensive behavioral interventions, supporting staff, and collaborating with educational teams to promote positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges and design effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Supervise and support staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), in the implementation of behavior plans. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maintain consistency in behavior strategies across environments. Collect and analyze data regularly to monitor student progress and refine interventions accordingly. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) input. Qualifications: Current BCBA certification is required. Experience working in school-based or educational settings is preferred. Strong skills in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs. Ability to lead and support behavior implementation teams. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with diverse stakeholders.
