They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity’s EH&S procedures.Job RequirementsBe open to change and constant improvement of processesObtain set up parameters for automated assembly machinesOperate the Automated assembly machines including identification and notification of alarmsPerform general inspection of assembled product using a microscope, gages, and other measuring equipment as required by the quality inspection planPerform in-process adjustments to auxiliary equipment as requiredCompletes required paperwork to report production, scrap, downtime, problems and issues related to the equipment and labor reportingMonitor machines for problems and help troubleshoot issuesPrepare and Load raw material into machineFollow standard work instructions to ensure qualityCarry out basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculatorMaintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standardsComplete relevant documentationClean and maintain equipment and work area per 5S+1 standardsOther duties as neededWhat your background should look likeAt least 18 years of ageAll employees will need to wear safety toe shoes and safety glasses.Background check and pre-employment drug testing required.Preferred High School Diploma or GEDExperience working in manufacturing settingBasic computer skillsGood communication skillsAbility to follow operating instructions as outlined.
