Position Overview: The Mailroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, processing, and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail and packages for CrossCountry Mortgage. This role supports daily mail operations by ensuring accurate sorting, timely dispatch, and reliable delivery of materials throughout the organization. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate and organize all incoming and outgoing mail. Ensure all outgoing mail is sent the same day if received by the established cut-off time. Deliver time-critical materials to UPS, FedEx, or the nearest mailbox after cut-off times. Transport mail and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of mail to each department. Oversee the operation and maintenance of the UPS, FedEx, and Postal systems. Maintain inventory of internal and external mailroom supplies, including company forms, letterheads, envelopes, and shipping materials (i.e., UPS). Ensure all UPS/FedEx shipments are weighed appropriately. Maintain the cleanliness of the mailroom and after-hours location. Ensure the highest level of customer service and confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with Accounting and other departments to support process efficiencies. Perform other duties as assigned and implemented as the role expands. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Excellent customer service skills. Capacity to lift items up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
