Job Title

Seeking a dedicated Rheumatology Physician responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and managing various rheumatologic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. The goal is to ensure optimal patient care and disease management.Monday-Friday 8 am -4 :30 pm Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed histories and physical examinations.Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis, and other connective tissue diseases.Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.Initiate and manage treatment plans, including DMARDs, biologics, corticosteroids, and infusion therapies.Monitor patients for medication efficacy, side effects, and disease progression.Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other specialists to coordinate care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.Support infusion services and prior authorization processes as needed. Qualifications Master s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Current NJ state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.National board certification (AANP or ANCC).Familiarity with autoimmune disease management guidelines.Experience with electronic medical records.Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
