A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available at a retail location in Duncansville, PA. This direct hire position offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. The role focuses on leadership, business development, and providing excellent pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities: Foster collaboration with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy department strategy. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations. Manage the pharmacy to build a profitable business, increasing script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with pharmacy and district management on inventory control and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand. Monitor performance metrics across seven key departmental areas to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver exceptional customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving medical-related inquiries. Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain pharmacy security and uphold department cleanliness and order. Build trust and loyalty by handling and resolving customer complaints and questions. Interact with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription or patient concerns. Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.
