A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hamden, CT. This full-time contract role involves providing speech and language services for students in grades K-12. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, with potential renewal for the 2026-2027 school year based on performance and fit. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to students in 2-3 classrooms, serving approximately 6-8 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and regulatory guidelines. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as necessary. Qualifications & Experience: Valid and current SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings. Experience working with students in K-12 environments preferred. Ability to independently manage caseload without support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to student-centered care and collaborative teamwork.
