Job Title

Under the direction of the Parks & Recreation Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the lifeguarding, swim instructors and general pool operations. The head lifeguard is also responsible for assisting with the schedule, training the staff, attending weekly meetings with the Recreation Coordinator and having an understanding of the pool chemicals and chemistry. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment, initiative and discretion. This position supervises all pool staff when the Recreation Coordinator and Aquatics Supervisor are not on site.
