This role allows you to be the face of a family-owned business while enjoying the stability of local routes that get you home every day. You will play a key part in supporting residential construction and home improvement projects throughout the region. How You Will Make an Impact Execute safe and timely deliveries of lumber, flooring, and appliances to residential job sites. Operate company vehicles with precision while adhering to all DOT and safety regulations. Manage the loading and unloading of materials using proper equipment and safe handling techniques. Verify order accuracy before departure to ensure complete customer satisfaction on every run. Maintain rigorous documentation of delivery logs, mileage reports, and vehicle inspection records. Provide professional and courteous service as the primary point of contact for contractors and homeowners. Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to stage inventory and optimize daily delivery schedules. Required Qualifications & Experience Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Demonstrated ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying 50-75 lbs regularly. Proven track record of vehicle safety with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR). Strong communication skills necessary for interacting with customers and logistics teams. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 2 years of experience operating delivery trucks in a commercial environment. Prior experience specifically handling building materials or flatbed delivery operations. Familiarity with the local West Monroe area and surrounding residential geography.
