Position Overview The Program Supervisor will oversee the daily clinical and operational management of the Home Based Crisis Intervention Program. This role provides leadership, supervision, and clinical guidance to a multidisciplinary team delivering intensive, community-based behavioral health services to youth and families experiencing behavioral health crises. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in crisis intervention, family engagement, and community-based mental health services. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Operations Direct and manage day-to-day operations of the HBCI program. Facilitate team meetings, case conferences, and clinical discussions. Maintain ongoing communication and supervision with senior leadership. Represent the program at community meetings and maintain relationships with referral sources and partner organizations. Clinical Supervision & Staff Development Provide clinical supervision and case consultation to staff. Conduct field-based side-by-side coaching and observational support. Hold regular one-on-one supervision sessions with team members. Ensure appropriate crisis response and provide short-term case coverage when necessary. Quality, Compliance & Documentation Monitor documentation quality, compliance, and service delivery standards. Ensure services align with program guidelines, regulatory standards, and best practices. Support the use of clinical assessment tools and electronic documentation systems. Clinical Expertise & Core Competencies Crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies Comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments Screening for social determinants of health and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) Administration of evidence-based screening tools including: Suicide risk assessments (e.g., Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale) Safety planning interventions Trauma screening tools Substance use screening (SBIRT model) Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders Family psychoeducation and engagement strategies Motivational interviewing techniques Collaboration with schools, child welfare systems, and community providers Qualifications Active New York State licensure as one of the following: Licensed Psychologist Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Bilingual Spanish required Experience utilizing clinical assessment tools and electronic health records Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Strong organizational, documentation, and leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated compassion, cultural sensitivity, and ability to engage high-risk youth and families
