Controls the correction and restart of computer jobs through the use of automated production software. Supports mainframe/server scheduler changes and performs QA on any program changes prior to deployment into the production systems.  Identifies problems and takes appropriate action in order to ensure timely and error-free service to NWRDC's customers. Responsible for facilitating/performing job implementation and flow modification using automated tools. Create and maintain specialized software calendars and run day requirements to effectively automate the execution of batch cycles. Initiate and verify successful completion of production cycles through the use of standard enterprise tools. Cross-trains colleagues in methods for performing an effective and efficient job across multi-systems or platforms to include best automation practices.  Participates in setting automated workload scheduling and code migration change management policies to ensure production consistency and accuracy is reached at the initial setup and database levels. Responsible for establishing schedules for computer runs and initiating and monitoring the running of computer jobs through the use of automated production software. Controls the correction and restart of computer jobs through the use of automated production software. Supports mainframe/server scheduler changes and performs QA on any program changes before deployment into the production systems.  Identifies problems and takes appropriate action in order to ensure timely and errorfree service to NWRDC's customers. Assist with the consolidation of technical data processing information from a variety of automated sources into daily and weekend schedules for production cycles on multiple systems and platforms. Coordinates and participates in production implementations, upgrades, and testing of automated workload scheduling software and code migration products or systems events. Communicates on a regular basis with NWRDC subsection team members, system programmers, applications developers, and end-user offices. Responsible for creating/submitting production reports to management.  Maintains and follows technical procedures. Executes code migration requests in a timely manner. Handles security requests within the code migration software. Responsible for manual code migration requests for the FLDHSMV mainframe and the FDOT BJS platform. Participates in approved professional development opportunities per NWRDC's policy. Professional development and training are defined as learning undertaken by employee to maintain and advance their skills, knowledge and competencies, specifically as they relate and add value to the job and workplace. NWRDC provides support for a wide range of state and local government, as well as K- 20 organizations across the State of Florida. These organizations are dependent on NWRDC in order to accomplish their missions. This requires NWRDC to maintain services 24/7, even during times of crisis or emergency. As such, all NWRDC staff are considered essential staff for operations of the State of Florida. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalency and three years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to three years. Considerations: This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position. This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. As required by U.S. Justice Department, CJIS level Background Checks shall be conducted for positions with access to Criminal Justice Information.
