We are a Support Services Brokerage and a nonprofit 501(c)3 agency that provides case management to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the communities of Coos, Curry, Douglas, and Klamath counties. Position Available We are seeking a part-time Personal Agent Assistant (PAA) to work in our Coos Bay office. This is a part-time 20-hour per week position, to be worked Monday-Friday between the organizational hours of 8am-4:30pm. The Personal Agent Assistant (PAA) is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This includes answering and directing incoming telephone calls, assisting visitors such as customers, providers, and other guests, and maintaining organized and accurate provider records. The PAA is also responsible for filing documents, performing data entry, and handling general office tasks. A key part of this role involves processing and approving provider timesheets in compliance with established procedures. In addition to administrative duties, the PAA helps maintain the cleanliness and order of shared spaces by performing light janitorial tasks and restocking supplies as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. To be successful as a Personal Agent Assistant (PAA), you must possess the following skills/abilities: Strong computer skills: including but not limited to experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and strong knowledge of current contemporary software and office equipment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills: You must be able to work independently and efficiently to organize your time, manage your workload, and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people, agencies, programs, etc. Interpersonal skills/relationship building: The ability to get along well with others and build authentic rapport is extremely important in this position. This includes but is not limited to our customers, their families, community partners, agencies, and fellow Connections staff. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or greater. Oregon Class C driver's license with an acceptable driving record and valid insurance. Ability to pass a background check. Residence in Oregon AND within the county/counties served (or reasonable distance). Qualifications that will set you apart from other applicants 1-year progressive experience working in high volume professional office setting.
