Job Description

This position is responsible for: Performing cost and inventory accounting for all U.S. and Canadian manufacturing plants. Complete monthly accounting close activities. Coordinating with Stellantis/FCA Services to promptly resolve outstanding issues within the SIR (Single Inventory Record) Account, including reviewing and approving the SIR account sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations prepared by Stellantis/FCA Services. Reviewing and approving journal entries prepared by Stellantis/FCA Services, including SIR-adjusting entries during the month, standard recurring month-end entries and month-end entries requested by plant or Corporate locations. Reviewing and/or preparing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts in accordance with established Stellantis policies and procedures, as well as SOX controls. Directly participating in, or materially supporting, the annual Product Cost Study (setting standard costs). Supporting business process redesign initiatives affecting PSAP and legacy systems. Providing support for monitoring inter-plant, inter-company and third-party billing activity and reviewing and approving journal entries as required. Supporting other Finance and operational areas for accounting-related issues. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience Good working knowledge of accounting principles, methods and techniques Strong leadership and problem solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution Microsoft Office - Expertise in Excel Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or MBA CPA or CA designation Plant finance and/or cost and inventory accounting experience, strongly preferred Familiarity with SAP and mainframe systems Salaried Employee Benefits (US, Non-Represented)Health & Wellbeing Comprehensive coverages encompassing the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and overall Wellbeing of our employees, including short- and long-term disability.
